David Graham is an alumnus and Professor of the University of the Arts, where he studied under Ray Metzker. A documentary and freelance photographer, Graham is the recipient of an NEA fellowship and his work is included in public and private collections nationally and internationally. Graham’s seven books include American Beauty (1987), published by Aperture, Only in America (1991), Alone Together (2003) and Almost Paradise (2008).
Known for his studies of the American social landscape, he has traversed the country several times wearing out three Volvos. Graham’s color work was shown in a solo show at the PRC in 1986.
