Join us for a special PRC Night with photographers from the art collective Recently showing and discussing their work. The event runs from 6:30 to 8 p.m., Thursday, June 20, at the Washington Street Gallery, 321 Washington St, Somerville, MA 02143
As usual, all are welcome and light refreshments will be provided.
Recently is a group of independent artists in the Boston area who come together once a month to discuss, develop, and critique their work. The group consists of visual artists, mainly photographers, but also painters, designers, illustrators, and installation artists. It was formed to create a space where the artists can hold each other accountable to make work. Through this community, they have been able to put together exhibitions, create publications, and apply to fairs and calls for work with the support and encouragement of its members.
