Background Information: The bounds of the property were laid out in 1948, with the house being built in the late 1940’s or early 1950’s and the garage added in 1953. The neighborhood became very built up in the decades following World War II and many of the houses still standing on the street date from the mid-century. The house was owned by the same family until it was demolished in 2018. One family member served his country honorably in the Army during the Korean War and was awarded the Bronze Star.
