Admission is open to all to witness this unique critique by two Boston-based practitioners that have a combined 70 years experience in the photo industry. Fitts and Wolinsky will review the portfolios of projected and printed images of six ASMP members. Review commentary will include useful insight and concrete advice for all photographers, whether or not an ASMP member. This will also be a great chance to learn more about ASMP and network!
About: ASMP-NE describes this exciting event as such: “Ad firm veteran and fine art collector Jim Fitts brings the business approach and advice, and National Geographic photographer Cary Wolinsky critiques technique. Together they are the embodiment of the two skills each successful photographer must have: business savvy and photographic skill. The review will be live with images projected on the screen and print pieces on display nearby. Attendees will be able to watch and learn, whether they’re a review newbie or a veteran. You will learn about the mindset on the other side of the table, the dos and don’ts of portfolio reviews.”
