Suzanne Gainer is a digital media artist, photographer, and educator. She is the Chair of Communication Department at Worcester State University, and holds an MFA in Photography from Rhode Island School of Design. Her work ranges in theme from formal explorations of spaces and objects, to feminist considerations of the body and the natural world. Her practice includes photography, digital image manipulation, video, and self-portraiture. She has been in numerous local, national, and international exhibitions which include the Griffin Museum of Photography, the Danforth Museum, the Center for Contemporary Arts in Abilene TX, the Millepiani Exhibition Space in Rome, and Gallery Nau Bostik where she received a Pollux Award in Digital Photography Manipulation & Collage as part of the 2018 Barcelona Foto Biennale.
