
Common Ground invites artists to explore how we form, sustain, and imagine community.
Submit by November 18 for the PRC’s Giving Tuesday Online Exhibition, launching December 2, 2025.
Up to thirty photographers will be selected for the online exhibition, which will be accompanied by a catalog available for digital download or physical preorder, with printed copies shipping by the end of December.

Common Ground is part of the Photographic Resource Center’s Giving Tuesday campaign. All proceeds from submission fees, catalog pre-orders, and donations made during the campaign support PRC’s mission to expand access to photography and support artists across the region.
Juror Bios

Alexa Cushing is the co-owner of Panopticon Imaging and Panopticon Gallery. She is dedicated to supporting photographers and artists through expert print production, framing, exhibition design, and curatorial projects. Her work centers on preserving and showcasing photography, providing artists with the resources they need to bring their visions to life.
As director of Panopticon Gallery, Alexa curates exhibitions that highlight a diverse range of photographic voices, working closely with both emerging and established artists. She is passionate about fostering connections within the photographic community, guiding artists through exhibition development, portfolio refinement, and print production.
Through Panopticon Imaging, she specializes in fine art printing, film processing, and archival presentation. She collaborates with photographers, collectors, and institutions to ensure the highest standards in photographic presentation and conservation.
Alexa holds a BFA in Photography from Massachusetts College of Art and Design and has contributed to the field as both a curator and photographic artist. Her work has been featured in numerous group and solo exhibitions throughout the United States, as well as in various online and print publications.

Connor Noll (b. 1999) is Co-Owner of Panopticon Imaging and Panopticon Gallery. As a full-time darkroom technician as well as a fine art digital printer, he’s dedicated to the craft of creating physical photographic works. He provides a variety of services to help materialize any artist’s ideas.
As co-director of Panopticon Gallery, Connor works with his colleague to curate photographic exhibitions covering a variety of physical practices and ideas. He collaborates with a diverse range of emerging and established artists to introduce new artists and exhibitions to Boston. Additionally, he honors local artists who are actively creating within the Boston area.
At Panopticon Imaging, Noll’s meticulous attention to detail in photographic production enables him to forge connections with local artists, collectors, and institutions when collaborating on their projects. Whether it involves fine art printing, film processing, digital retouching, or any aspect of photographic conservation, Noll ensures that each process is executed deliberately and thoughtfully.
Noll holds a BFA in photography from Massachusetts School of Art and Design and works in the field as both a curator and an artist. He has shown his photographic and print-based work in multiple shows within the United States, both online and in print publications.
