Mythic Folds

Sally Chapman’s work is featured in this solo show at the Shelley Hoon Gallery at Curry College. The show features two cyanotype series. In Mythic Nature compositions of an imagined world are created by recontextualizing monuments from the public square into an envisioned landscape. The Artist Books begin with the imagery of the Mythic Nature series and expand into featuring imagery of the movement of plants accentuated by folds in the paper.
