New England's Center for Photography

Founded in 1976, the Photographic Resource Center (PRC) is an independent non-profit organization located on the campus of Boston University. Consistently cited by the press as an important voice in photography, the PRC provides its members and the general public with thought-provoking exhibitions; distinctive education programs; wide-ranging resources; and unique special events.

The PRC is for all who love photography, not just photographers. The programs and exhibitions of the PRC are made possible through the generous support of its members, individual supporters and donors, companies, Boston University, as well as various government and private foundations. The PRC is located at 832 Commonwealth Avenue, on the MBTA Green Line, B train, BU West stop, 4 stops West of Kenmore Square. For information on our hours, directions, and more, click here.
