Barbara Bosworth photograph

Born in Cleveland, OH in 1953, Barbara Bosworth has received numerous honors, including a Buhl Foundation Grant and a John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation Fellowship. In 2008, her solo exhibitions included showings at such venues as the Phoenix Art Museum, in conjunction with the Center for Creative Photography, and the Smithsonian American Art Museum. Included in the PRC's Print Program and the 2008 PRC exhibition New England Survey, her photographs are in the collections of many major museums. Bosworth is regularly featured in Blind Spot and published Trees, National Champions (MIT Press, 2005). For this series, Bosworth has been photographing a meadow on her friend's 20-acre property in Carlisle, MA for 4 years. Bosworth has been a Professor at Massachusetts College of Art and Design since 1984. She resides in Massachusetts.
