FEATURED PROJECT

Artist Statement

These pictures were made in an attempt to organize the world. I photograph out of a need to understand space, the landscape in particular. I am fascinated with the way we fill our spaces and the way they are often left unused. The landscape is full of questions and contemplations. In particular, I am very interested in the way in which our structures begin to take volume in the landscape, as well as the emptiness that inevitably occurs when redevelopment is taking place.
