Known for her pinhole photography, exploration of text and image, and "photo objects," Jesseca Ferguson is a graduate of Harvard and MassArt and earned her MFA from Tufts University.  Currently, she teaches at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.  Collected and shown internationally, Ferguson showed at the Fox Talbot Museum, Lacock Abbey in 2011.  Since 1998, she has been engaged in cultural exchange with Poland, through the medium of pinhole photography.

Ferguson was featured in the 1997 PRC Juried Exhibition, a two person show in 1998, and in The Doors of Perception: Vision and Innovation in Alternative Processes in 2013.  She has also lectured and given several workshops for the PRC.  To create her suggestive still-lifes, she created "set-ups" from her own collections of ephemera.  A self-described pack-rat, her studio and work, like this image, are veritable Wunderkammers.
