SUMMARY:Opening Reception : In View
DESCRIPTION:The Photographic Resource Center (PRC)—a nonprofit organization founded in 1976 and dedicated to supporting lens-based artists through exhibitions\, public programs\, and community-building initiatives—serves as a hub for photographic dialogue in Greater Boston\, providing space for experimentation\, visibility\, and professional growth for artists at all stages of their careers. \n\n\n\nPresented in partnership with Behind VA Shadows\, who are generously hosting this exhibition in their gallery\, In View continues the PRC’s mission to uplift and celebrate diverse photographic practices. Curated by Catherine LeComte Lecce\, Executive Director of the PRC\, this exhibition brings forward practices grounded in inquiry\, memory\, experimentation\, and lived experience. By presenting these artists together\, In View affirms that creative growth is not linear and that artistic community is built in many forms. The work continues\, and we are honored to hold space for it here.

SUMMARY:Mythic Folds
DESCRIPTION:Sally Chapman’s work is featured in this solo show at the Shelley Hoon Gallery at Curry College. The show features two cyanotype series. In Mythic Nature compositions of an imagined world are created by recontextualizing monuments from the public square into an envisioned landscape. The Artist Books begin with the imagery of the Mythic Nature series and expand into featuring imagery of the movement of plants accentuated by folds in the paper.

SUMMARY:Film Screening: Path of Totality by Homa Sarabi
DESCRIPTION:Join us at the Lesley University Hall screening room for a special evening as we screen Path of Totality\, an intimate experimental documentary by Homa Sarabi that weaves together the legacy of her father’s banned post‑revolutionary musical and newly shot 2024 eclipse footage. Through 16mm film\, handmade animation\, and hybrid analog–digital editing\, Path of Totality illuminates the hidden violences of censorship—then and now—and celebrates the resilience of artistic expression under systems of control. \nImmediately following the screening\, please join us at the gallery for the closing reception of our current exhibition POWER / PLAY.
